When Bad Things Happen To Good Girls

Girl’s Night Out at Sona!

Today (as every Friday) was a terribly long day. Despite I’m not convinced with tonight’s plan yet, I’m always anxious to go out with my friends. I keep thinking what are they going to wear, if maybe anyone made some unexpected and surprising change of look (it usually happens, and we have a lot of fun). I myself have made some drastic and spectacular changes occasionally).

Every time I go out, I spend hours thinking about what will I wear, and which accessories. Today I could barely concentrate at work thinking of my beautiful sandals. The time seemed not to pass and every time I watched the clock the needle was still in the same place!

Okay, I admit that I had watched the clock several times per minute… what kind of person would I be if I hadn’t?

Who can think of working when you are just a few hours left of a girl’s night?

After work (and still thinking of my sandals), I went straight to Kevin’s (my hairstylist) to get my feet done (of course!). Even when they were very well I’ve also decided to get my hands done as well, and had convinced Kevin to give a touch on my hair. I want to be perfect tonight and every detail counts. Maybe you have not noticed but I am quite perfectionist with my appearance, I can’t stand being untidy, even when I’m alone. I do not understand that people who go through life without a drop makeup or a nice detail in their hair.

Come on!!! We’re in LA! It is assumed that we are beautiful and have a great style; I don’t know why there are people who strive to show otherwise.

Same thing I was talking to Cath (Cath is responsible for the hands and feet beauty at Kevin’s). You wouldn’t believe how many people appear in the beauty salon for an urgency extreme makeup just by having a party, or those who don’t take care of their feet throughout the whole winter just because they do not show them (please, you live with your whole person all year!!!)

Well, I will forget all this for a while and I will dedicate the rest of this afternoon to myself. I was looking at the reviews of Sona and it appears the food is exquisite. I do not think we will see anyone famous, but at least I will have the pleasure of eating well and I won’t deprive myself of the dessert!
